The Delta Laser Micromachining System is designed for laser processing of materials including laser micromachining, precision laser ablation and selective ablation, drilling, surface texturing, and marking. With a range of sizes and form factors available, this standard platform can readily accommodate a large variety of sample part sizes, motion stage travel dimensions, laser sources, optical delivery methods, and automation and accessory components. Tooling can be customized to suit your application.
Delta Laser Micromachining Systems are most commonly integrated with galvanometer scan heads and femtosecond lasers, which provide the best material removal quality, with minimal-to-no thermal defects, and the highest degree of process stability and precision. With options in IR, green, and in special cases, UV, wavelengths, femtosecond lasers provide the optimal processing ...
Delta Laser Micromachining Systems are most commonly integrated with galvanometer scan heads and femtosecond lasers, which provide the best material removal quality, with minimal-to-no thermal defects, and the highest degree of process stability and precision. With options in IR, green, and in special cases, UV, wavelengths, femtosecond lasers provide the optimal processing capability for nearly any material, including metals and metal alloys, polymers, ceramics, and glasses. For processes that benefit from other types of laser sources, the Delta Laser Micromachining System can also be configured with a range of fiber, DPSS nanosecond green or UV, CO2, and picosecond lasers, selected specifically for your application.
For applications that require high precision and tight positional tolerances, the Delta Laser Micromachining System can be constructed with a rigid steel frame and a granite processing platform mounted to pneumatic isolators to provide excellent vibration dampening for the processing area. An operator-oriented machine interface allows for intuitive system operation tailored to your specific process. For enhanced automation capabilities, AMADA WELD TECH offers automated tube loaders, robotic arms for loading and unloading, and machine vision systems for precision part positioning and feature measurements. AMADA WELD TECH engineers provide system installation at your facility, along with a fully developed laser process and operational training as part of the system delivery.
