AMADA WELD TECH glovebox enclosures provide a controlled workspace for handling, assembling and welding sensitive components. Sealed glove ports allow operators to work inside the enclosure, while antechambers provide a controlled method for transferring parts and materials without opening the main workspace to ambient air.
Our glovebox enclosures can serve as stand-alone controlled workspaces or be integrated with resistance seam sealing, projection welding or laser welding equipment. Configurations can be selected around the component dimensions, atmosphere requirements, processing equipment and operator access needed for the application.
Hermetic package sealing requires attention to both the joining process and the environment in which components are prepared and welded. A controlled-atmosphere glovebox enclosure supports these operations by separating the workspace from surrounding room air.
Depending on the configuration, gas controls, moisture monitors, gas analyzers and gas purification equipment can be incorporated to maintain and monitor the processing environment. Vacuum bakeout ovens and vacuum/backfill antechambers can also be integrated to support component preparation and transfer.
The enclosure should accommodate the complete operation, including the parts, welding equipment, tooling and space needed for handling components.
