AMADA WELD TECH and COVID-19

AMADA WELD TECH supplies critical infrastructure to the medical device, DOD and other essential industries. As such, its work qualifies under the operation of the “Federal Critical Infrastructure Sectors.”

AMADA WELD TECH is closely monitoring the impact of COVID-19 and taking all necessary health precautions prescribed by regional, governmental and WHO agencies. We continue to discuss our action plan as a team to support our employees’ health and safety, provide required support to our customers and also monitor its economic impact.

AMADA WELD TECH is committed to:

  • Doing our part to slow the spread of the virus so that the most vulnerable people are able to required care.

What we are doing to prevent disruption to our customers

We continue to provide sales and service to our customers. We have asked our Sales and Service staff to avoid air travel and travel by car when possible. AMADA WELD TECH has a strong supply chain and plans well into the future for the parts needed to support our customers.

What we are doing for AMADA WELD TECH employees

 Travel Guidance:

AMADA WELD TECH has suspended all international travel and limited domestic travel for our employees.

Prior to scheduling any on-site visits with our customers, AMADA WELD TECH will request verification on the status of our customers’ facilities related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). All group meetings and events involving travel will be conducted virtually.

At this time, we are not closing any AMADA WELD TECH offices, factories or technical centers but are providing the following guidance:

  • All AMADA WELD TECH employees who have symptoms of the virus (cough, fever, shortness of breath) have been asked to stay home and not come to work until they are cleared by a physician.
  • Additionally, we are taking extra precautions in all AMADA WELD TECH locations to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
