  • TO Package Welding – TO (Transistor Outline) cans are widely used in sensors, photodiodes, and optoelectronic assemblies. Our fiber and pulsed Nd:YAG laser systems enable high-precision seam welding of TO headers and lids. These systems minimize heat input, protect temperature-sensitive components, and ensure vacuum-tight, hermetic seals.
  • Butterfly Package Welding – Butterfly packages are commonly used for high-frequency and optical communication modules. AMADA WELD TECH’s laser welding equipment ensures smooth, reliable seam welds along intricate geometries. With integrated vision alignment and motion control, our systems deliver the accuracy needed for high-yield, aerospace-grade hermetic sealing.
  • Aluminum Package Welding – Aluminum housings are preferred in aerospace for their lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties. However, aluminum presents challenges such as high thermal conductivity and oxide formation. Our fiber laser systems are optimized for aluminum welding, providing deep penetration, low porosity, and excellent thermal control—key to achieving robust hermetic seals in these enclosures.
