Parallel Seam Sealers

Hermetic Sealing is the process of encapsulation of a device into an air tight metal or ceramic housing which protects it against harsh or challenging environmental conditions. This can be accomplished by joining a metal lid or cap on to a metal tub or a ceramic package with a metal seal ring using parallel gap resistance seam welding technology. This welding technology delivers series of overlapping welds by using two rotating wheel electrodes while maintaining a constant and repeatable weld force, speed, energy and spot spacing between weld spots.
