Laser Surface Texturing

Laser surface texturing is a process that alters the surface of a material using a laser. The laser beam ablates layers of material with micrometer precision and repeatability leaving defined micropatterns on the surface.

Laser surface texturing is often used in industrial applications to improve weldability, adherence, and electrical and thermal conductivity.
