The SL-301A electromagnetic weld head system includes both a linear magnetic force actuator and a microprocessor-based electronic control, for precisely controlled weld force for welding miniature and micro-miniature parts. Opposed inline configuration. Programmable follow-up force and weld-to-displacement features ensure welding consistency and virtually no splash when welding difficult materials such as copper, molybdenum, and tungsten. Built in the USA, the SL-301A can interface with direct current, inverter and stored energy (capacitive discharge) power supply technologies.
