Sales Coordinator

Job Summary

This position requires a Sales Coordinator with a can-do attitude, excellent organization skills including attention to detail and follow through; the ability to research and solve problems for internal and external customers; superior communications skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure and handle demanding people and difficult situations. Sales Coordinator coordinates the day to day activities for the assigned territories or any other territory as needed. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for all phases of customer support from quotes to follow up after the sale.

  • Order quoting and entry in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Review of customer order backlog with respect to manufacturing availability and customer needs, credit hold issues, down payment issues and clearance of purchase orders with discrepancies.
  • Heavy customer interface via e-mail, phone and fax.
  • Monitor the closing of opportunities in sales force in order to ensure open opportunities are closed.
  • Ensure sales force opportunity is added to sales order as required.
  • Ensure commission split are noted and processed on sales order.
  • Knowledge of Amada Weld Tech Inc. products, functions as well as features.
  • May require individuals to attend daily or weekly backlog meetings.
  • Assist Regional Sales Mangers, and independent sales representatives and dealers as needed.
  • Responsible for obtaining and abiding by all company signing rules, including the required approval of Demo Orders, Order with Discounts, Credit Return Orders.
  • Exchange Orders or Cancellation of Order. This will also include required approval for sales quotes.
  • Maintain an order entry accuracy rate of 95% of greater.
  • Turn around and process of sales quotes within the same day.
  • Responsible for consumable sales (Goal will be assigned).
  • Assist other departments within the company as needed.
  • Attend Systems Kick-off meeting as required.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales or procurement.
  • Previous experience working with a CRM system such as Sales force or similar as well as an ERP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office ( word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Experience working in a channel sales model (i.e manufacturers reps, dealers, distributors, integrators, etc.
  • English language skills:  ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Precision Electro Mechanical Assembler

Job Summary

The Precision Electro Mechanical Assembler is primary responsible for assembling small components while viewing work under a microscope.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small components.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Some electro mechanical assembly work
  • Build precision mechanical assemblies and/or electronic assemblies to a high level of quality using small hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Perform Electro Mechanical job tasks with a high level of efficiency and quality
  • Performs housekeeping and clean up duties upon completion of assigned tasks

Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant

The position requires an in-depth understanding of general accounting, month end closing and reporting and the ability to handle multiple tasks.  Responsibilities include cash receipts application, Accounts Receivable sub-ledger maintenance, assistance in fixed assets accounting and monthly closing and reporting.

  • Assist in the monthly close process including journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations for certain Balance Sheet and PL accounts.
  • Prepare daily cash report and monthly accounting and other management reports, including headcount, cash disbursements, detailed sales and cost of sales by country and by intercompany/third party and departmental budget to actual expense.
  • Input monthly, quarterly and annual financials and supplemental information as well as budget and forecast using SAP portal
  • Assist in the quarterly and annual audit by providing schedules and supporting documents.
  • Prepare trend analysis on warranty, returns and bad debt.
  • Input Fixed Assets details using the BNA software.
  • Review and apply incoming payments and credit memos to the appropriate customer ledger.
  • Investigate, reconcile and resolve all short pays and other payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable aging report and other related documents and reports.
  • Monitor and report custom system deposits and progress payments.
  • Be a back-up to Billing and AP.
  • Prepare and obtain data necessary for annual commercial insurance renewal and maintain COI.
  • Perform accounting, financial and administrative tasks as requested by the CFO, Accounting Manager or Cost Accounting Manager.

Senior Systems Software Engineer

Summary

The Senior Systems Software Engineer will have a proven background in automation control and software development.

Responsibilities

Conceptual and detailed software design, coding, and testing of:

  • Pre-sale conceptual design, schedule, and cost estimation of software for semi-automated and fully automated industrial processing workstations
  • Software integrating system operation, motion control, laser programming and control, machine vision (Cognex, Keyence), data collection and analysis, file management, human machine interfaces (HMI) and networking capabilities using graphical user interfaces (GUI) with real time implementation
  • Structured, re-useable low-level motion control system code for Delta-Tau, Aerotech, and ACS motion systems implementing control system and I/O functions
  • DLLs for selected software-controllable systems components such as: data acquisition and controls, motion controllers, visions systems, lasers, data collection and report generators
  • Manufacturing floor automation connectivity software including LAN, database, and other standard interfaces and protocols
  • PLC code for Allen Bradley, Omron, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Sick and Pilz PLCs
  • Provide support for system acceptance testing conducted by project managers

Field Service Engineer

Overview

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for installing and servicing resistance welding, laser welders, laser markers and systems equipment; handling customer inquiries related to applications or processes development using our products. Travel to support these tasks will be worldwide.

 

Responsibilities

  • Installing, aligning and servicing lasers, resistance welders and workstations with PLCs and motion control hardware and software
  • Making changes to PLC and motion control programs
  • Training customers in the use and maintenance of our products
  • Answering telephone inquiries regarding product operation, maintenance and applications
  • Writing field visit and customer inquiry reports
  • Work with customers and other visitors on applications development in-house
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned by the management of AMADA WELD TECH from time to time

Education/Experience

• Excellent customer interface, verbal, and written communications skills
• Good practical electrical and mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
• Logical analysis of technical problems, ability to understand problem as described by customer
