Nd:YVO4 Laser

An Nd:YVO₄ laser – more commonly known as “Vanadate” – is a laser in which the active gain medium is neodymium-doped yttrium orthovanadate: Nd:YVO₄

Nd:YVO₄ lasers are optically pumped using either a flashlamp or laser diode array. They typically emit light with a wavelength of 1064 nm, but may also operate at 914 nm or 1342 nm.

Common applications include marking, engraving, spectroscopy and research.
