Laser Plastic Welding

Laser plastic welding is a technique by which a laser is used to join generally similar plastic materials, where one piece is semi-transparent and the other opaque.  The laser is used to heat the plastics to bond the two parts together.

Laser plastic welding is best achieved using a direct diode laser.
